StromNow makes charging electric cars easy — at home and on the go. Our app combines intelligent routing, transparent pricing and price-optimized charging on a single platform. This makes it unnecessary to use multiple charging apps and saves not only time but also money. In doing so, we focus on user comfort and offer a user-friendly solution that is easy to understand, especially for new e-drivers. This makes charging an electric car just as easy and familiar as refueling a gasoline engine. With our innovative approach, we are revolutionizing the e-mobility market and making charging easier than ever before.
Our goal is to make electric mobility more accessible, easier and more efficient for everyone. No more complicated pricing models, chaotic charging infrastructures and hidden costs — we offer transparency, flexibility and a seamless charging experience.
Fabian came up with the idea for StromNow during his first weeks as an electric car driver. After numerous failures in the charging process, he realized how confusing and frustrating it can be for users to navigate through various charging apps and inefficient routes, some of which did not work. With the vision of making charging electric vehicles more seamless, intelligent and cost-effective, Fabian founded StromNow — a platform that can be charged both at home and on the go and combines price-optimized charging with intelligent routing.
Fabian had been deeply rooted in technology since he was young: He started out as a software developer at the age of 14 and founded his first company — a web design agency during his year abroad in New Zealand. After returning to Germany, he continued to build this up and continued the company parallel to his Abitur. His entrepreneurial passion led to further start-up projects, including several app developments, which achieved a total of over 250,000 downloads.
After joining CODE University and purchasing his first electric car, Fabian developed the idea for StromNow, inspired by the challenges he experienced himself as an e-car user. At the beginning of 2024, he finally published the MVP from StromNow, which laid the basis for the current platform and has been continuously developed ever since.
